My passion for communicating began when I worked with Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids (YFFTK). YFFTK is a nonprofit that supports the families of kids who have lost a parent by providing practical, professional and personal assistance at each stage of the grieving and recovery process.
I supported them in sharing current events, fundraisers and informational content on Instagram and Facebook to reach their target audience. Additionally, I worked as a spokesperson for the organization where I shared YFFTK’s impact with donors, families and local news.
Elevating the mission with storytelling
I often spoke at fundraising dinners of 130+ people to raise funds for the organization. This spark later developed into a full-blown passion for PR and marketing, inspiring my current career and endeavors.
