I briefly worked with Stellantis as the 2020 Corporate Communications Intern. In my time with the company, worked on several projects on different teams, and my interest in the automotive industry, internal communications and digital marketing only grew. What I did:
Social Media Monitoring/ Tracking
- Managed social media listening tool, Zignal, to create a daily digital intelligence report for management and c-suite executives; this helped leadership understand the social atmosphere amid COVID-19 and the racial unrest in the summer of 2020
- Generated coverage reports with data including sentiment, share of voice and top stories
- Proposed and drafted social media posts on behalf of the company
- Supported crisis mitigation by tracking and distilling data about online coverage and developing holding statements
Graphic Design
- Designed graphics to promote mask usage in North American plants
- Designed the initial drafts of signage stormwater park for a plant on Detroit’s eastside in partnership with the Wildlife Habitat Council.
Internal/ Corporate Communication
- Copywrote/ edited documents for internal and external audiences, including press releases, Q&As, product launch press materials, blogs and holding statements
- Acted as PR counsel for employee-run Business Resource Groups in their first virtual run/walk/roll event.
- More than 1,100 FCA employees and contractors participated in FCA’s inaugural Virtual Unity Walk/ Run/ Roll event from July 20 – 26.
- Wrote blogs for company intranet and blog “At the Wheel: Stories that Drive Us”
- Developed and executed an editorial calendar for employee engagement on the company intranet, The Hub
- Crafted a proposal to promote Employee Engagement and bridge the gap between corporate employees and factory workers
